Would you say this North Face jacket would be good for harsh winter conditions?

I want a cute North Face winter coat... would this one be good for winter in Nebraska?

Any other cute coats for highschoolers like me?

It doesn't look like it would be warm enough for a "harsh" winter

Primaloft insulation (like that used in this jacket) is very warm. However, it doesn't offer exceptional protection from wind. Likewise, this jacket has a basic nylon shell. It therefore will not be very effective against rain and wet snow.

If you plan to use this jacket simply for daily use and travel to-and-from school, then this jacket would be fine. However, if you plan to use it in any outdoor recreation capacity it will most likely not live up to your expectations.
