  1. Well......I was a big fan of Marian Hossa, until he signed with Detroit. I use to also pretty much worship Ty Conklin....until he joined the Red Wings.

Maybe I'll like Ty more after he joins a different team. It's not that I hate Marian, it's just it felt like he slapped us in the face and I need someone to "hate"

  2. As much as it pains me to think of Brodeur on the Rangers I would still be a fan of the sport.  I dont love the sport because of one player, nor do I love my team for one player.  I think the perfect example is Scott Gomez and his defunk to the Rangers.  It just makes it all that much more fun when we play them now because the rest of the team wants his blood....

  3. if my fav player(Joe Sakic) join my most hated team(ottawa) i would want ottawa to lose but sakic racking up the points still

  4. I don't have a favorite player.  I'm a habs fan and I support my team more then any one player.

  5. yeah,

I'm a HUGE Canucks fan so I obviously hate the flames, but Iginla is one of my favorite players.

  6. One of my most favorite players HAS recently joined a team I've never held in high regard, and it has left me in a quandry about how to react to him.  He's one of the best in the sport, unquestionably, but now he's "broken ranks" with the  team that brought him to his stardom, for whatever reason.  Now, he's less of one I look up to, and more of "just another good professional sportsmen".  It's hard in life when your idols act in a manner that tarnishes their reputation in your eyes, but, believe me, it  puts the world in a truer perspective.  All he is is an athlete.  He gets a lot of tv air time, selling this and that, but all he really knows is how to play the game he grew up with.  Oh, I still have a bit of favoritism for him, but, he's lost that "star quality" with me.  It's all for the better.  I've got a lot of other things to do in life, much more important than sitting around idolizing someone who plays a game real well.  They may get a lot of money, but, what are they really, truly worth.  God Bless you.

  7. yeah i've liked mike modano for years but my team is chicago

  8. Actually that's happened on too many occassions. I will still be a fan of that player but not a fan of the team. I had to choke watching Damphousse win a cup with the stinking Habs.. that was bad enough.

  9. Yes I would. It has happened a few times with players that I like. It will happen again I am sure. I root for the player to do well. Just as long as his new team does not beat his old one and my favorite one.

  10. how ironic.. he did LOL... Satan joined Pittsburgh , but ill always root for him just not the team...

  11. ABSOFREAKINLUTELY.....unless he played for the Rangers

  12. Yup... I am a huge Anaheim Ducks fan... When Bryz went to the Yotes i was devastated... I Hate the Yotes and Bryz was one of my favorite players... When he left i still followed his every stat and will continue even if he goes to dare i say it LA
