Would u still watch it if he is forced to retire?

Or if he takes his own decision?

Or if a news comes that ur fav cricketer is suspended for taking drugs or match-fixing or anything else?

  5. YEAH

  6. Well yes, of course I would.  See the difference is that I played cricket because I liked the game. I watch cricket because I like the game.  I am not consumed with hero worship.  The game is bigger than some players personalities not the other way round.

  7. Favourites come & go and loyalties change, but the game itself is different. So it does not mean that my favourite player(s) retires (kicked out / banned or whatever) and I'll stop following cricket.

  8. my favourite is sachin.. may be the interest go down after his retirement more over  i didnt feel bad when indian team lost the kitply tri series and asia cup final ......

  9. Yes

I Love cricket more than a cricketer

  10. I would be very dissapointed but I would still watch cricket

  11. I still watch though Ambrose retired years ago, he was my favorite and Brain Lara, but I love the game so can't stop watching

  12. Yes, I like this game very much.

  13. Only if I like some other cricketer as much as the one who has been my favourite cricketer. But I am sure that would never happen. No one else will be another Bengal Tiger in years! So, my answer is no-it's pointless to watch cricket without Dada.

If my favourite cricketer had been given an opportunity to retire at his own will, I would have perhaps considered of continuing watching cricket even after his retirement, but since he is being thrown out of the team, and being forced to retire by some jealous and selfish people, I won't even give a thought about watching cricket after his retirement.

I won't ever get such news as my favourite cricketer accussed of match fixing or taking drugs. Yes, Sourav dada is quite aggressive on the field and may have been warned for quarelling with the umpires, and suspended for slow over rate, but that doesn't make him wrong. Infact, I admire him because of his courage to protest unlike others.  Everytime he questioned the umpire, he was right in doing so, and slow over rate isn't really any offence. It's just a fault. But I just know that Sourav Ganguly can never be accussed of indulging in such corrupt practices like doping and match fixing! So, I do not even think of such a possibility. Dada would  remain my favourite even after retirement, but sadly, I've to quit watching cricket.

  14. Absolutely NO!

    NO Mahela= NO CRICKET!!!!!

  15. Yes, i love the game so much!! Many of my favourite cricketers have retired (Lara, Waugh, Warne etc) but i still watch it!! If one of my favourite retires, i just choose another favourite cricketer which i love!! My current favourite is the Little Master - Tendulkar!! When he retires, i will have another favourite!!

  16. yes

  17. Yes because I love him because of cricket so I will continue

  18. why not?  i won't leave watchin it even if he denies to play doing either.Afterall youngsters also wanna come up with their skills.T20 and ODI's need youngsters more.

  19. my favorite cricketer can NEVER be suspended for the things you have mentioned.... he'd never do any of them.... because he's Rahul Dravid.

as rahul is not in the team now, i totally don't watch cricket... as u can see adi, i'm not even regular in y!a too.... just becoz of that...

i'm trying get myself busy with music now, trying to contact bollywood music directors..... found some of them..... so, i mean i think i'm trying to forget cricket...

if he retires...., i guess u remember i had answered a q of urs about it..... no, i would not watch criket.... i know i should... but can't be what i'm not...!

  20. It will not make any difference if he retires of his own or forced to retire because change is the nature the world and things change everyday and we have to learn to live with it.

As far as not watching cricket, it doesn't make any practical sense. Maybe there will be another player who will take your favorite player's place in your heart and you will feel the same about him until something happens with his cricketing career. What would you do then?

If a player is involved with taking drugs or mat-fixing then it will certainly not go very well with me. He is infected with a virus and has to be dealt with in the same manner as I would with a computer virus.

  21. my favourite is sachin.. may be the interest go down after his retirement
