Would you support a war between the USA - Venezuela (Or south America in general) and USA - Iran?

For the past days i've read rumors that the USA has activated some sort of armada near south america and that they are willing to invade venezuela for the sole propuse to get some more oil, using Chavèz as a reason to invade.

I also read something about plans to invade Iran in the next weeks, for the same objective: more oil.

If this is to be confirmed, would you support the USA in another war?

Wouldn't you think that the USA would likely lose the war against these countries, and the world would fall into a chaos?

If yes explain why.

The people who have posted serious answers to this question are idiots.  

Pray tell, what are the sources of these "rumors?"  I think you should post them, many of us (myself included) would be curious to read them.

Though it appears, unfortunately, that far too many of the posters on Yahoo! Answers are willing to denounce the U.S. as a warmongering nation without even asking the original poster to provide proof of these rumors.

Siince Venezula is not now nor ever will be a threat to this Nation I see no reason to go to war with them. Beside if we want Yugo Chavez out it only takes one bullet.  As for Iran, I see no need to go to war with them either, we can easliy destroy their Nuclear facilties using missle and bombers with minimal risk to our troops.

I don't know where you get your information, but it is ridiculous.

We will never go to war to get more oil, period.

We would go to war, and maybe the place where you get your oil news has touched on this, to stop a crazy lunatic from developing nuclear warheads in Iran, and to topple another crazy dictator in Venezuela.

First off I don't even support this war. For years our country and our leaders knew EXACTLY what Iraq was up too We funded these people for many years and all of a sudden we look down on these people? The Government says 9-11 but lets not forget the REAL reason why we will never forget. BIN LADEN IS FREE! We went after Saddam for what? WMD? Never found any! Don't you think that if our government was able to lie on a global stage how easy it would be for them to lie again and again and again? We are not all on the same page here. Half of us are still sleep walking through life oblivious to TRUE nature of the US objective. By the time we all wake up and see, it will be too late for any of us to do anything. So no I wouldn't support the US in another illegal occupation of another country! We are the terrorists! yes the u.s. has over 2 million+ troops. and it depends what allys and enemies south america has. iran thinks there tough but trust me im sure canada can kick there ***.

There will be no war with Venezuela. The way that the US controls these "lesser" countries is by financing opposition groups within the other countries themselves, often through the National Endowment for Democracy. I wouldn't support it if it happened, but I don't think it's likely. As far as Iran goes, we just don't have the personnel. I would never fight in an offensive war that is unjustified. If Iran or Venezuela threatened us militarily, sure, I would enlist. I don't believe in threatening civilian populations because our corporations feel entitled to resources located in another country.
