I am going to start a charity. First you need some background on me. My mom has Huntington's Disease. Ok that's enough background. This charity would be for families that have one parent with a disease. We would provide money to the family for expenses and support to the other family members. How do I start this charity? Would you support it?

  1. I would definetely support any charity that is serious and legal. Surely we wouldn't want the money to go other places, right? If I live somewhere near you, i would support it. You should start it slowly first, by publicising it and slowly gain trust from other people. Once it's big enough, you can make it legal and have some people work for your charity, such as ' receiving donation calls' and collecting money and such.

  2. get others to support it and create like a club or something

    Yeah i'd support it.

  3. there is already an active charity for this disability nationwide..find the local chapter and jump in and help

that is what i did with my son who is autistic

  4. I like supporting a charity that has a purpose and uses the money for only that purpose.. of helping the others that are in need. Check out this website.. and it should give you some need to know information that may help you.

But overall.. you just need to start off slow so that you don't get so overwhelmed with things that need to be done.

    Good luck!
