Would you take Lee or Bollinger to World Twenty20?

Imagine you are an Australian selector putting together the squad for the World Twenty20 in the Caribbean. There’s one fast-bowling slot left to fill and Brett Lee and Doug Bollinger’s names are still on the table. Who would you choose?

Lee has been a great servant of Australian cricket over many years now and at his best I’d still have him in my 15-man squad. However, Lee did spend the Australian summer on the sidelines while Bollinger blossomed into a dangerous quick in all forms of the game. On fitness and form, Bollinger would probably get the nod.
