I personally wouldn't prostitute myself; if I was him and I was unhappy I would walk.

  1. Ummm its hard he loves the game but i bet he loves money too.

  2. Well, he is still under contract for 2 more years, so I can see how the Packers should pay him if they are the ones wanting him not to play but also refuse to release or trade him.  They can't have their cake and eat it too.

  3. I would hold out until the Packers traded me to the Bears or Vikings. The first time I'm back in Lambeau Field, I would actually moon the fans (not pretend to like Randy Moss did). Then I would retire for good.

  4. I would Reject It and find somewhere else to be.

  5. i would  take the 20 million, who wouldn't?

  6. No way I would take that deal.

If someone tells me I'm worth 20 million dollars sitting around, imagine how much money I could make doing something constructive?

And that's just looking at the monetary aspect.  Now, as big as my ego is, it would never permit me to believe that anyone could ever think enough of me to pay me 20 million dollars, just to stay away from them.  There's no way that I'd let myself believe that I am that important to the world, that just me being somewhere is worth 20 million dollars to someone.  I'd be too creeped out by that notion to do what that person wanted me to do, at least not without further, non-monetary motives.

  7. Walk, and really make Thompson look bad, it is a win for Favre if he does, and a huge slap in the face to the Packers if he gets traded to the Vikings and he wins the Super Bowl.

  8. If I was him this would p**s me off even more and make me want to come back and beat the Packers.  That offer to me is basically an insult saying we don't want you here and we don't want to even have to deal with you.  If I was Favre I would come back and pay them to release me so I could play for the Bears or Vikings and end up beating the Packers.

  9. There is no way they are going to let him play for the Vikings!  Say he walks, looks like the tough guy, signs with some random team and doesn't do ****, then what?  Then he plays the whole "maybe i'll retire" game with that team, well then nobody is going to give a c**p what he does with his life because he will be a NOBODY.  An Ex-Packer-Fan-Traitor-Maybe-I'm-Gonna-

    Retire-Mind-Game-Playing-SOB.

He's lost the respect of millions of people who freakin' worshiped him.  s***w morals and "prostituting" himself, and s***w the love of the game.  Everybody stopped giving a **** about him when he **** on Wisconsin.  BOO!

  10. If I was Brett Favre I would reject the offer. He is supposed to get more than 20 million in (2) years. The offer they gave him was 20 million over (10) years.

Also I would love the game so I would while enjoying the game being paid more than I would have gotten if I had retired.

Another reason I would reject the offer is because I might go to one of the hottest teams in the NFL, The Vikings.

Imagine having Adrian Peterson as a teammate.

  11. If he truly loved playing the game of football, he wouldn't take the deal.
