  3. Consider becoming a Community Interest Company www.cicregulator.co.uk and you may be more eligable for grants to get you started from lottery & comic releif, unLtd etc. and

ensuring that it continues to beifit the community.

There are porbably local advisors who can help you choose the right business struture, write business plans, marketing etc

  4. that's a fantastic and admirable idea- I know a girl with autism, and there is nowhere she and her mum can go where her mum doesn't have to worry about her daughter making a scene or feeling embarrassed about her daughters behaviour. Very good idea x

  5. If I had an autistic child I would.

For those who don't know, gf/cf is Gluten Free/Casein Free.

  6. Yes, I would

  7. Im not sure that I would take my kid to somewhere like that unless it had 110% supervision.  Im not sure its wise to let autistic kids to play on one of these play areas unattended.  Parents would have to be there with them all the time - you cant let any stranger start reprimanding a child with learning difficulties.

Personally - this seems like a theoretical good idea - but in practice - it would be one h**l of a job to sort and get insured - the ones with 'normal' kids (and I use that word loosely, am not being funny) are a nightmare for insurance and staffing levels but with autistic children - it just would be a nightmare - i really dont think that you would get the levels of people required to make it a profitable business - unless of course you are thinking of running a charity registered thing.

Im sorry, I would love the idealism of it all, but I dont think it would work  :o(

  9. The fact that people don't know what you mean should be a first lesson in what you need to do from a marketing perspective.

I would take them, by the way.

  10. Yes of course. Otherwise we always end up in McDonaldas. There isn't so many family friendly restaurants in England.

  11. what is gf, cf?
