Would you taste sweet crude oil to verify it is indeed sweet?

It left me gaseous so I guess I have nothing to be tankfull for.

And as always, serious answers only please. Would you taste sweet crude oil to see if it is indeed sweet?

isn't harmful enough to be tasted as easy as that in order to "verify" it's sweet taste? your question is senseless in my opinion. please don't get mad. I'm just being frank.
