  1. Doesn't matter where you live, it's what you're like as a person that matters.  People who think less of people who can't afford a bigger house are scum, you shouldn't take any notice of what people like that think and say.  Sounds hard to do, but if you look around there are plenty of good people who wouldn't think like that.  Life's not long enough to worry about people who look down on others,  spend what time you have with people you actually like and who like you for what you are inside.

A lot of people in Central London live in tiny flats worth milions of pounds with less space than a terraced house.  Nothing wrong with it whatsoever.

  2. Depends on the area and state of the property, rather than whether or not it is terraced.

  3. Depends on the area. If it is a council estate, but if it is a nicer area, but compact then no.

  4. Not at all......with one exception ....Gordon Brown of Downing Street :)

  5. why should I, some terraced houses are better and bigger than detached, also in London a terraced is worth more than any detached in the north, I don`t see what the problem is really.

  6. How shallow.................its the person, not the house they live, the car they drive, the area, where they were born, what they look live, clothes they wear...............so many people judge on what they see, and not what you are................if people are like this, then I don't want them as friends.

  7. What is wrong with terraced houses?  Houses either side = warmer.  Neighbours either side = safer.  I have gardens beside and behind me = safe for my cat.  Perhaps I am lucky and live in a lovely street with lovely neighbours.

    EDIT

Having just read Johnny C's answer, I agree.  Although I would prefer to live closer in to central London, I wouldn't swap my 3 bed terrace with garden for a tiny studio flat in the centre.

  8. Certainly not, I lived most of my life in a 2-up, 2-down without a bathroom but with an outside toilet. People who live in terraced houses?..Salt of the earth.
