  1. I can't even believe the deniers are resurrecting the same old debunked argument just because they came out with a 'new' and equally flawed list of "Americans with college degrees in science".  Can't they at least come up with a new bogus argument?

  2. I wouldn't care what side of the issue the OISM was on, I wouldn't throw any support (let alone "complete") behind them.  They clearly (it's well documented) used deceptive techniques, had no quality control, and have no experience at polling. Sadly, people still fail to check their sources and fall for the OISM deceptions.

  3. Why would you throw you complete blind support of any cause, yet that is precisely what many people do.  For example, some pretend to know that increased CO2 is necessarily harmful overall.  They pretend to know the ideal temperature, the ideal CO2 concentration, and suggest any change is not normal and necessarily bad.  These people will inevitably talk about ice melting, sea levels threatening some Pacific Atoll, and permafrost melting but seldom talk of the actual benefits which are numerous.

  4. Whether or not my life depended on it, either way absolutely not.

  5. I don't know how this changes the names on the petition.

Why don't you wait until we find out a little about the signatories before dismissing it completely?

And of course I don't give my complete support to OISM, I just don't see how that is relevant.

  6. No I don't sponsor any one grouping. I do get second and third opinions, however I then use my own judgment. I never really believed in poll's or samplings, they always omit imperative factors.

  7. No, but I would not automatically dismiss them either.
