  1. You probably picked McFadden ahead of Parker, so if you are even thinking about this, why wouldn't you have just picked Parker?  Parker could be splitting carries and scores very few TD's.  i'd stay stick with the upside of McFadden.  Oakland also was one of the top rushing teams last year.  They are already saying they plan on getting 600 rushing attempts in this year.  Pittsburgh is the only team in the last 20 years to do that.

  2. Yes. Parker is going to get 1000+ yards and with his speed is a threat to score any time he touches the ball. Some leagues award bonus ponits for TD runs/catches of 40+ (or more) yards and Parker could pick up a few easily.

Fargas is stil the starter in Oakland primarily because McFadden hasn't played well enough to take the job away from him. McFadden will get some touches and is a scoring threat, as well, but Parker is the better option now.

  3. It really depends on what type of league you are in.

    1.  If you are in a keeper league then the answer is absolutely not.  You keep Mcfadden at all costs.

    2.  If you are in a regular league, it would probably not be a bad trade, however, i personally would not just because of the upside of mcfadden versus the upside of Parker.  The main reason I am down on Parker this year has simply to do with what he did last year and Mendenhall.  Parker is going to lose touches to mendenhall at both the goal line and in general so to me Parker is no better than any of the other backs who split time around the league.  With Parker all you have to go on is what he did last year which was a let down considering where he was drafted last year.

McFadden has the potential to take over as starter and be a top scorer in fantasy land so I like his potential versus what Parker's potential.  So for me the answer is no I would not trade Darren McFadden.

Besides if you have mcfadden, odds are he is not your primary back anyways, if he is then what were you thinking in your draft.

Oh and for the guy who said McFadden hasn't played well enough to take away the job.  4 carries for 50 yards is roughly 12.5 a carry.  I would say that is playing well enough.  Its only a matter of time.
