  1. That's a tough call.  There are a lot of question marks with Rodgers coming into this year.  Mainly, how will he deal with the pressure of following such a legendary QB?  Does he have adequate arm strength to throw a deep ball??  Will he be able to stay healthy.

He is definitely set up to succeed though.  He has a solid running game and a great receiving core as well.  He is behind a good offensive line too.  So coming into this season, he has everything in place for him.  And he knows the offense too.

I give the guy 20-25 touchdowns this year.  That's if he plays the entire year obviously.

I personally do not believe in Eli Manning.  Yes, he won a Super Bowl and yes, he is a Manning.  He only had an average year behind center though.  23 TD's but 20 INT's.  He also fumbled the ball 13 times, losing 7 of them.  He's a truck too.  The guy has little speed or agility too.

Rodgers is definitley more mobile in the pocket.  That doesn't mean he's going to move like Vick, but having a QB with some athleticisim could mean a few more rushing TD's which is great in fantasy football.

All this being said, Manning is the more proven QB, because he has obviously played more downs.  I would personally keep Rodgers and see what he does.  With the offense he has behind him, there is a very good upside there.  But good luck!!!

If you like fantasy football, then you might get a kick out of this too.  It's a little different but it's simple and fun.  If you are into fantasy football, then you should at least try this.  Just click on the link...

  2. I'd do this.  You know what to expect with Manning, and Rodgers has a ton of pressure on him to fill in for that guy named Favre, who I hear was pretty good.

  3. in a heart beat,, i'm not big eli fan but you know what your getting..rogers is untested and will be under intense pressure following favre and not sure he can handle it..

  4. that trade could go either way. we dont really know what rodgers is capable of yet. Eli won a championship, but he throws alot of picks. so, trust your gut. do whatever u think you should do.

  5. In a second

  6. Absolutely not.

    Hang on to Rogers.

He is going to step into Green Bay and they won't even miss a beat. He demonstrated that last year in the Dallas game.

I know Eli was on a Superbowl team, but his individual performance last year was very mediocre.

    23 TD - 20 INT and 17 fumbles.

He only had 2 games he threw over 300 yards and 11 of 16 games he had 1 or no TDs.

    Go with Rodgers.
