Would you have a problem with a 23 yr old driving your kids to school? I'm thinking of applying to be one.

  1. why not?

  2. I wouldn't have a problem with it as long as they had the training and were licensed to drive a bus (there probably is a training course with the company you're applying to drive with).

  3. I think age shouldn't be a matter. You have a license so you can drive. If the school district you apply to accepts you after all those tests and interviews, I guess it's fine for you to work there. Even over 40 there are drivers who are taken their licenses away because of either drunk driving or misconduct. So no issues with a 23 year old.

  4. People may trust an individual they know well to drive their kids to school, but asking a school to trust a person not everyone knows is another matter. Can you get a CDL at this age? If so, get the license first, and then apply. Who knows?

  5. i wouldnt really, i dont even trust my bus driver (she's about 50). she drives on the wrong side of the road!

  6. If you had a valid drivers license to drive a bus.
