Why does toilet paper need to be bleached white with chemicals and all, unless you plan to inspect what's on it? Natural fiber color would do just as well, right?

  1. yup.. as long as it doesnt hurt my butt.. right now i use 100% recycled toilet paper

  2. I buy anything as long as it doesn't have wood chips in it.

  3. Yes it would, and if we started buying more recycled products , the price would go down,

  4. Hey as long its not rough on my special areas I dont care what colour it is

  5. Wrong. The chemicals in the color processing, makes it

    less bio degradable.

People do need to see what is on it, if their "hemorrhoids"

    are bleeding. <}:-})

  6. unbleached  toilet paper is already available

Yes over priced mucked about super soft bum paper is getting silly.

  7. I like white toilet paper better I just don't trust the colored paper

  8. I'd use anything as long as it was...

    1. Soft.

    2. not too expensive.

I don't care what the colour is because it's going to get flushed down the loo anyway.

  9. I would buy Angel Soft if it weren't white. I would buy recycled, tan colored toilet paper, if it were as soft and cost a $1.00 for 4 rolls, in my Dollar store.

It doesn't have to be white, it just has to be soft and cheap.

Last time I tried "green" toilet paper, it cost twice as much and it was rough. I could buy a newspaper, cut it up in strips and hang it over the roll. It would be softer, amuse people and maybe I should hang a sign they put it in the trashcan, for compost. Wet newspaper leaves ink.

I don't care what color it is, I'm not paying 2-3 times as much for sandpaper, on my really soft parts, to be "green".

  10. whats funny is people think that because its white it is so clean and sterile. thats laughable! you know how many toxins are released in the whole process of making white toilet paper?

also, you are basically wiping all those chemical residues on yourself every time you use the bleached paper.

natural fiber color would do just fine.

you should check out this book. it is EXCELLENT and actually talks about the process, the pollution and our obsession with white bleached products.

  11. If i ever saw toilet paper that wasn't white i would naturally assume its rough and would be scared away from it
