  1. If you have cleaned and boiled them its totally fine. I myself am in the same position, and its hard knowing what I can buy used and what I can't.

  2. Its perfectly fine as long as you cleaned and boiled them.  I have used second hand ones with my kids.  Some people just like to be critical.. ignore them!

  3. If they're sterilized and still in great shape (no tearing or bumps)

    then go ahead.

  4. I suppose if you boiled them, the bacteria should be dead.

  5. yes. i know what its like to be broke. if i didnt have so many generous people around, everything my son has would be secondhand!  just keep an eye out for regular wear and tear.

  6. personally i would not.. You can buy soothers very cheap (and still good quality)...........

  7. Hello. If you have sterilized or boiled them then this will be alright. You are not a bad mother just poor.

  8. yes if you hand made sure there clean and there are no holes in the nipple i don't see why not it's a good way to save hand me downs are fine long as there sanitized

  9. These people that are telling you are a bad mom for using used Binkys , I'm sure are People that eat in Restraunts and eat with used utensils....if you boiled them...where is the problem?

  10. I would use them.As long as you boil them first & they are still in good shape,I see no problem. Some people are just completely ridiculous and germaphobic when it comes to babies.I wouldn't let it get to you.If it makes you feel any better,I have used second hand pacifiers(from sister) and I even bought second hand nipples for bottles off ebay and used those. As long as you clean them well, they are perfectly fine.

  11. Personally, I wouldn't do it unless they came from a family member.  You are not a terrible mom for doing the best you can.

  12. as long as you sterilized them (boil for 10 minutes) and they are in like-new shape I wouldn't worry about it

  13. I'm sure that since you sterilized them, they are fine.  I personally am a complete crazy person when it comes to germs so I wouldn't do it...not even from family....I probably wouldn't even let my next baby use anything like that.

  14. Sure but regularly test them for wear, as you would a new one anyway. U should only use even a new dummy for three months before throwing them out, so keep this in mind. Good luck!
