Palin has said she is a christian because she does not believe in abortions and birth control. There should be more then that to be a christian.

  1. A candidates religion should not be considered unless that candidate intends to inject his belief in his politics, like that worthless piece of c**p Huckabee.

    Govt. is secular.

  2. Depends who else is available, doesn't it?

  3. No, I don't vote for people who take their advice from imaginary friends.

  4. Good question. My pro-choice mother has been a Christian far longer than Palin has been alive, and her reason for being Christian has something to do with Jesus.

Palin must be part of some new wave of Christianity. I see it enough here, where the Paulianists pose as Christians.

  5. Not believing in abortion or birth control have nothing to do with being Christian.

  6. Wow. And here I was thinking that being a Christian had something to do with Jesus or something.

    Silly me.

  7. Hahaha ... I completely agree with you.

Would I vote for someone who said they were Christian? I don't know ... I don't base my votes solely on religious affiliation.

Being pro life and against birth control does not a Christian one make!

  8. they say the state and church is separate, That's a hypocritical statement when religion is escorting politics. The latest news broke today that should send the religious right thinking, she announce that her daughter is pregnant.

  9. I think you are trying to make fun of certain people. That is the least you expect in a Christian, the least. Obama supports partial-birth aborthion, the trephining of the heads of children as they pass out the birth canal (that's how they do it in China). Now that is demoniacal. I'm sorry, it is.

Anyway, the Bard is right : Take the jab, or feel the knife (Adapted)

  10. What choice do I have? They all say they are Christian.

  11. I take their word for it. I know she simply isn't a Christian for those two reasons and only those reasons. I hope she doesn't that that's all that necessary to be a "Christian" either.

But she hasn't had much time on the national stage for us to know who she is, hopefully she wont be on there long enough for us to get to know her.

  12. Impossible not to in this Presidential election.

    They are all Christians.

  13. I want to vote for a right-handed president, but none are available if I stay with the 2 major parties.

  14. You have described a sound-byte and are reacting to it without considering that there is obviously more to it than you have represented.  I seriously doubt that Sarah Palin became a Christian solely because she does not believe in abortion or birth control.

    .

  15. It doesn't make a difference to me one way or another as long as they support most of the major issues i agree with.

  16. For me it's a plus, but I am more interested in their track record and ability to manage and govern.

  17. No, not based only on that claim.

  18. LOL.....most Christians believe in birth control and abortion rights.  I would not vote for an EVANGELICAL Christian.

  19. For me it's a great sway to one side, but I still need to hear their position on other topics

  20. she must be misinformed about what the definition of christian is

  21. She has said she is a Christian... she has said much more than being pro-life.

Please state your source on saying she doesn't believe in birth control ... not true.
