Would you vote for the following candidate if they went for president?

one who came from the lower class and worked in factories and retail. who told you that they would try to get things done but made no promises. who wasn't rich but got people like penn and teller, oprah, etc to help with their campiagn funds.

The fact that he came from a working, blue collar environment is a plus in my book - but that alone certainly wouldn't be enough - he would have to have a solid understanding of the concerns presently facing this nation and offer up some real viable solutions. He would also have to demonstrate excellent leadership qualities.

What a splendid idea! Yes I will be more than happy to vote for him, especially if your blue collar friend went through the public school system, and can point out on the map where Tajikistan is located, or if he can tell me all the countries that the Danube river runs through, or what Expansionism means.  You certainly believe we the people choose our leaders or have a say in who governs us? They won't allow it. It's a waste of time, he should drop it.  You are so naive.
