  1. Yes

  2. Beautiful women are treated better, and hold a great deal of power over most people. I would want my daughter to be a well rounded individual, and that includes being pleasant to look at.

  3. I would hope that her looks were secondary to her inner redeeming qualities. But I wouldn't want her to be horrific-looking, either.

  4. Sure. Isn't that what Betty Friedan and Gloria Steinem fought for?

  5. Who wouldn't?  In our crazy, messed-up world, people still put far too much emphasis on physical appearance, so a "head-turner" is going to have a lot of advantages in life.  If there's one thing parents love, it's to see their progeny "succeed".  :-)

  6. No, basically I don't want that, and I just wanna keep her off the pole.

  7. yes. but,

    opposed to what ?

  8. Is it a bad thing?

  9. If it made her happy.

  10. Thank god I don't have a daughter, Boys cant get pregnant so i don't have to worry about it. But I do tell my sons to check out the mom so they can get a better idea of how their current girlfriends might look older. However I do hope more people have daughters who are head turners.

  11. That's already happened - she's 38 years old now!  On no less than three occasions I have seen men walk into walls or light poles staring at her - and I used to think that only happened in movies!

But then, she IS 6 feet tall and "drop dead gorgeous"!  (She took 2nd place in the Hollywood-Burbank pre-teen beauty pageant when she was 13.)  The lucky girl gets her looks from her dad's side of the family, not mine, I'm afraid.  He was 6'6'' and his father was 7'2'' tall.

  12. never. ''Head-turners'' aren't respectful or decent..i'm worried my baby sister(15) is becoming that. A tart. :(

  13. I would be happy for her, she is already exceptional, her mother commands attention where ever she goes, I think its inevitable really. I already feel sorry for her future boyfriends, she is gonna be a headwrecker.

  14. I would want my daughter to grow up to be a strong, independent woman who has a solid sense of self and a good set of values.  I'd want her to be compassionate and be able to see the good in people.  But I want her to be smart and have common sense.  That kind of woman is more of a "head-turner" than a woman who'd just a pretty face.

  15. Hahaha, I must admit that Doggie made me laugh, and if he just quoted Chris Rock, then he is now a genius in my eyes, despite his chronic insults.

"KEEP MY BABY OFF DA POLE!"

I would want all of my children to be attractive. Attractive people have easier lives with more benefits. They get paid more. They are treated better. People assume they hold better personality qualities...there's so many benefits of being a "head-turner". Of course I would want that for any children of mine.

***Sorry jealous thumbs downers, but life is easier for hotties ;)

  16. She looks like me , so she will be a headturner.

Thats why I have a shotgun.

But really I just want her to be an honorable person.

  17. I want my daughter to grow up to be a good person, and she has.

  18. I would want my child to be well educated regardless of her/his looks. It is pretty easy to turn heads but what  you have to say once you have their attention is more important.

  19. I have daughters, and they are beautiful girls. I got them into martial arts at a young age, and they have good heads on their shoulders, so I'm not worried.

If they were stunning, yet weak and stupid, then I'd be concerned. Being good looking can't be a bad thing...

  20. Attractive, yes. Unusually stunning? No. People wouldn't take her mental capacities seriously.

Her father already has plans for her to attend MIT on full scholarship to study astrophysics (so she's only 14 months old...plan ahead!), so it would be a burden to be brilliant AND gorgeous.

  21. as in attractive?

    well, kinda yes and no.

    its very complicated............

  22. It would not bother me.  As long as she has respect for herself and doesn't dress trashy.  I have seen plenty of men do double takes toward me and have not been negatively effected.

  23. yes it is ok good for her

  24. No, people would use her for her beauty and not take her intelligence seriously, but it would be hard considering my future wife is a "Head turner"

  25. I would want my daughter to be the prettiest, smartest, most charismatic young lady that ever walked the Earth.  Doesn't every father?
