Dale Jr. wins the championship this year and Mark Martin wins the championship next year in the 5 car?

If this happens, it would be obvious beyond doubt that the sport is rigged, that Hendrick is putting all their good engines and parts into

the 88 and 5 car.

I don't think I could watch it anymore knowing that the sport has become staged!

Please....... every sport is staged a little. You know that nascar throws cautions when they think the cars need to be brought back together. That would be kind of lame if that happened but then I guess I would have to watch the next year to find out if they do it again.

its been staged for years with Phantom cautions (ask Stewart) and changeing rules from week to week on the fly. Depends who you are determines puhishments

How would the whole NASCAR sport be rigged by just one team owner?? To me that would just mean that HMS is being unfair to Jimmie and Jeff..

I'm confused why would a true NASCAR fan stop watching the race if Jr. or Martin wins, thats stupid. And I'm also wondering what would make you think that it would be rigged if Martin wins next year, have you not seen how well hes been racing!! You would just be pissed cause Gordon didn't win. I think its time to get over it, Gordon had one great year as did Stewart, but Martin is consistent and he deserves to win and I pray that he wins!! So stop complaining!!!!!

I will watch nascar for life no matter who wins the championship and no matter who is the dominant driver from year to year.  And just for the record I would love to see Mark Martin win a championship next year.  I don't think too many people would have a problem with that no matter what team he drove for.

I agree with #18. If it was rigged, then Kyle would un-do the knot.

I have noticed, the teams that bring in the most revinoue, NASCAR lets rules slide for the. For exsample, Jr, at the Mich. race. He was passing the pace car, during the yellow. If anyone else did that... NASCAR would have beat the @zz. Nope.. Not JR...  And why was that???

I do honestly feel that parts of it is rigged. NASCAR will help certain drivers get up front, so they can get a better chance of winning.

If that's how things turn out, then so be it.  But don't kid yourself that things are rigged.  If you truly believe that and cannot watch any more, the you are not a true fan.  So you can take you conspiracy theories with you when you go.

i can't answer for my better half, but if that happens, i will be highly upset because this is rowdy's year and the only way he will be beaten legally will be by jimmie. if dale jr and/or mark win next year i guess i will suck it up and move on, but i definetely would be curious as to whats going on. i'm sure if rowdy thought it was rigged he would try to unrig it - by any means necessary

I'd still watch. To me it's always been rigged to a degree. Alot of timely cautions for the #24 and #48 over the years....I could be biased. But it's still fun...grew up watching races with my dad. Now my son and I watch....no matter how bad the #43/#45 perform we still pull for them every week and always will.

I guess it would be the same thing if Kyle continues to win most of the races. It would seem rigged. But the possibilities of that happening are not that bad off. Hendrick has good cars and drivers and so does Joe Gibbs. So it's possible it could happen and not be rigged.

I dont think the sport is rigged,although i believe Hendrick wants to make sure his investment in JR is giving him results by giving him the best engine and showing to the public  JR can win.But remember,it takes more than a good engine to win a race,much less a championship..

NASCAR isn't rigged.  They may look the other way when it comes to a few people but it isn't rigged.   I wouldn't worry about Hendricks.'   They never have before put much into the 5 car.  Not going to change now that Mark is going there either.

If I felt the sport had become "staged" I would not watch it anymore either. I quit watching WWF years ago when I found out it was fake, and I would not watch NASCAR anymore either. With that being said, I do not feel that NASCAR will go down that road.
