all of our problems, or do you believe that would cause more psychological illness than a student could understand?

  1. I wouldn't welcome them.  I wouldn't even let them near Earth.  More than likely they carry a disease that our human bodies aren't used to and it can wipe out all the animals and humans on earth.  But if they didn't carry a disease that will kill everybody, than sure I would welcome them if they could solve all my problems.

  2. Of course I would welcome them as long as they weren't hostile.

  3. If they solved all our problems, then who would learn anything? That would be like giving a child all sugar and no broccoli to eat every day. In other words, harmful.

No, if the aliens were quite advanced they would understand the impact of first contact and would take great steps to ensure a proper arrival. Nudging humanity forward in mysterious/omnimous ways until the consciousness of the planet has been raised sufficiently for contact.

    This is happening now btw.

I would not be happy with aliens coming down here to solve our problems for us. That takes away the chance for us to do it ourselves. It is self sabotaging.

  4. i would welcome them. when they came to visit me i would feed them poptarts and then do experiments on them. aliens are easy to take apart, but they don't always work when i put them back together.

  5. Not if they were trying to solve our overpopulation problem

  6. If aliens exist they are probably 1000 of years ahead of us. But I would love to drive a ufo. Always have. So yeah, I would welcome em.

  7. I don't think there's much evidence for the notion that space aliens on Earth would cause psychological illness.  That's just some handwaving thrown around by UFO proponents who need a convenient reason for why the Evil Gubmunt is entirely "covering up" evidence that aliens are already here.

The notion that aliens are or would be omnipotent benefactors is likely just the archetypical concept that was previously fulfilled by angels and mythological gods in times past.  It doesn't matter whether you call him Zeus, Clarence, or E.T. -- people are just connecting deep-seated superstitious fantasies and desires with the general scientific acceptance of the possibility of intelligent alien life.

  8. Something like this scenario is coming very soon indeed.

    Google/youtube: "Project Bluebeam"

Fake 'messiahs' and 'aliens' just in time for 2012! Many will be fooled.

Later remember to ask yourself how we knew in advance:

    2 Thessalonians 2:10-13

  9. I seriously doubt that they could solve all our problems, but I would welcome them if they were actually friendly and didn't present any threat to us.
