I worked for a major retail chain when I was in high school and it was much better than working in fast food. Depends on your options but certainly it shouldn't be ruled out as far as employment goes

if you like clothes, then YES!  Usually retail offers discounts to employees. The problem is that most employees don;'t have much of a paycheck cuz they spend it on those clothes!

I would definitely work at H&M for awhile if it meant getting a nice discount on the clothes.  It would be a good, but very temporary job.  If it'll pay for the gas it'll take you to get there plus some food and some kind of shelter, that's good enough right now.  Would take some willpower too, though, not to go crazy and buy too much at the store!

I worked retail for 2 years. It can be a lot of fun until you get that one customer that complains about EVERYTHING, lol. Just learn not to let those people get you down and you'll do just fine! Also, I would love to work at H&M...so I say take the job! :)
