Would zoology be an appropriate major if I want to get my Phd in biology,but study animals?

any advice for majoring in zoology..and getting into a Phd program? Is there a lot of chem. and math required for zoology? If so what kind? any info on getting a Phd in zoology would be useful..my dream is to just travel and study animal..would this be the right path to go about it?

I'd major in biology if I were you, but in biology you can put an emphasis on what you want to study.  I'm a biology major with who is also a pre-med.  Just make sure your college of choice has a good zoology program.

It'll depend on what you want to do in zoology as to how much math and chemistry is required.  For pre-meds, I had to take 2 years of chemistry and 1 semester of Calculus.  If you need more information about it, I'd talk to a college advisor.  Your own personal advisor will be able to help you find the right classes.
