Question:

Wouldn't a piece of cooked meat or fish be a healthier treat than store bought cat treats?

Lately i've taken an interest in reading the ingredients on my cat's food and treats, and with all the additives and artificial flavours in cat treats wouldn't it be a bit healthier to have a small piece of chicken or salmon instead (and when i say a small piece i mean about the size of a store bought treat...not a huge chunk. And not too often either)?

  1. Most definitely.  Make sure it's unseasoned. Cats are naturally carnivorous and need fresh meat in their diets every day. They get alot of needed moisture from real meat too.  Look into raw feeding.     http://rawfed.com/myths/cats.html

  2. very good, watch for small bones, never gives  uncooked pork to any animal. it will give them worms. you can buy neck bones in stores. cats love  the juicy beef ones, they sharpen there teeth on the bones. its all good.
