If the only type of exhaust from hydrogen fusion car is water, wouldn't that add more water to the atmosphere, thereby increasing climate temperture because water vapor plays the biggest factor to earth's climate?

  1. I wouldn't say that, I would say its all the carbon dioxide thats negatively affecting the environment... If a car's exhaust is water... It wouldn't affect our atmosphere..

  2. yes every time one went off it would add more water

  3. Hydrogen fusion cars would blow up. Pure hydrogen is highly flammable such as the Hydrogen Blimp That once blew up. If you're talking about water, ( though I don't know how you would do it) , yes, it would put water vapor, but I don't think it would be healthy. :-)

  4. AUGH!!! Hydrogen FUSION is what powers the SUN! Not only would that not produce water, but the radiation would be a major problem in any accident!

Burning Hydrogen in oxygen would not add water to the air, though. Remember, that's where the H2 came from in the first place!

  5. is that worst then all the Co2 emissions and the acid rain?

  6. Hydrogen FUSION cars would emit Helium gas, and probably some Tritium as well, not water.

I think you are talking about Hydrogen FUEL CELL vehicals, which is a completely different type of technology.

Water vapor is so prevelent in nature that it finds its own natural balance very quickly no matter what sorce it comes from.  For instance most people never think about the fact that for every gallon of Gasoline or Diesel fuel you burn in a car you put out enough water vapor to make almost a gallon of distilled water!  Every car driving down the road in the desert is adding large volumes of water vapor to the air, but nobody even notices because natural forces put it back into balance with the surrounding environment very quickly.

  7. Yes, it would.

Hydrogen cars are really like the government's way of holding back electric tech, because:

    1. They won't be affordable for several years, thus distracting the public from battery-electric while ensuring oil profits continue to flow.

    2. They use 4 times more power to make hydrogen than can currently be obtained from it.

    3. Most hydrogen is made from hydrocarbons, so they still produce carbon emissions and make oil / natural gas profits.

    4. They allow people to fill up in a matter of minutes and drive stupid ginormous SUVs and trucks while pretending they're being good for the environment.
