Wouldn't telekinetics have an unfair advantage on Wheel of Fortune?

??? Wheels don't have hinges. A telekinetic would slow the wheel down to stop it where they want, not speed it up.

  1. There is a team of contra telekineticists out the back willing the wheel to behave in a seemly random manner thus negating the effects on the wheel caused by the contestant.

  2. perhaps, but there is nothing against the rules for telekinetics to be on WoF. If they openly denied them access, they would probably get sued. However, telekinetics would still have to come up with the right letters, and I find they might have great powers, but they aren't so clever when it comes to word games. So its a tradeoff. Now a medium would be able to consult with ghosts who could see the answers and help with the wheel. That would be mega-unfair.

  3. Well if you needed the money that bad,do it.

  4. they could speed it up

  5. Very interesting question!  Imagine the $$ a person could rack up if they could control the wheel, but the player would still have to guess letters and answers so the odds of winning would only be a little better.

  6. Not really. Once they get the wheel going fast..it will probably fly off its hinges. It's a lose lose situation!

  7. No, because other adepts could take their chances if TK speculate with psi-knowledge

  8. Of course, it does happen.

More likely the show fans are having a greater impact on the wheel based on sympathy toward the player, than the player can impart him/herself.

  9. They would be at an advantage, stopping at big money.Still, they would have to solve the puzzle. From what I've seen and read here from practitioners of telekinesis. That would be a distinct disadvantage for them.I think they should stick with predicting a statistically significant percentage of dice rolls. They seem to excel at that game.At least that's what I keep hearing.

  10. no because its rigged and nobody watches it so we all lose

  11. If there were people with such abilities, which there clearly are not aside from obvious fraudsters, all of the Casino's around the world would be bankrupt.

  12. How about dice, slot machines, etc?

The lack of obvious telekinetics throughout history

is a good indication that likely there isn't any such thing

    as telekenesis.
