  1. Blossom makes a good point!

dresses would be nice and I love a guy in a 3 piece suit all dressed nice

  2. Knock yourself out boy,  if you want to wear them

    don't let anyone stop you!!

  3. Probably  not. A pretty dress can't turn an ugly girl pretty.

  4. Yes, especially if women wore them too

  5. Yes, but women would be a lot less comfortable.

  6. I feel prettier when I wear them.

  7. By men, maybe!  If women were forced to wear dress and etc.. everyday, PMS would look like a good day...

  8. Yes, dresses and skirts do make women look more  like women--but let's face it. They are very uncomfortable and it will never be again.  Jeans and a t-shirt are comfy , easy to care for , and easy to wear.  Not too much worry about wrinkles and such.  So the day of jeans has arrived and here to say I'm afraid your bubble will burst.

  9. Possibly!  But surely it depends upon who is wearing them and how they are worn.

On size does not fit all ~ so, and in this case, one idea does not fix a whole world of problems.

Sorry to rain on your idea.

    Sash.

  10. I think women look much more feminine with a nice dress or skirt and heels on. The only problem is this is the "Seniors Group" and there may be many like me who cannot wear heels anymore. When I was younger, I always wore skirts, suits and dresses with nylons and heels. I enoyed dressing up.

It seem the pendulum has swung too far the other way. Now everyone is in jeans or sweats. You do not see many people who dress up any more. I still like to look my best and like to wear my nice things, including my jewelry.

  11. Yes Yes Yes. I realy wish the yung ladies and women of today would take more pride in being a female and act more ladylike and feminine. Men would treat them better and it is so nice to see. My husband loves the girly look and it boosts my self esteem everytime I wear them, which is anytime we leave the home. I have raised my daughters the same way and mt children are raising their girls the same. In samre respect, the men/boys, never run around in "Flip flops" they always dress aprropriately in khaki or slacks and nice shirt.

  12. Sorry Jeff the younger generation don't agree with you but I allways get compliments when I wear a Skirt and Heels.

  13. Probably, and the topper would be guys in three-piece suits, socks and dress shoes, long-sleeved dress shirts with a tie! Now that's pretty!

  14. no, the world would be a lot prettier without war, famine, hate, litter, racism, pollution, disease..... the list could go on forever.....

  15. Do you have ANY idea how uncomfortable all that stuff is to wear?   Try it.  Just once, in the house for a whole day.  Nope, you can't take off the pantyhose when they bind or the shoes when they make yourr back hurt and pinch your toes to numbness, no you can't take off that hot slip when you start to get too hot in the summer.  Prettier maybe until all of us ladies get on the mad streak and start beating on you guys who wanted this back!  Forget you, old son.  Keep dreaming.

  16. I know what you mean!  There was a time when getting dressed was a real ordeal (Victorian days) and almost painful.  The idea of silk stockings brings to mind how special silk stockings were before and during WWII.  It's all part of the pleasures we, as a society have lost.  the idea of femininity, defined by men, has it's positive points as I for one, love to dress for sexuality.

  17. No. The world would be dominated by false women.

I prefer to see women how they should look:

Naked preferably, but just generally looking human, and not like a walking plastic doll.

Also, Katie - the man wasn't asking for a pointless lecture

  18. The world would be a lot prettier if everyone, male and female, would unplug when they're in public.  There's nothing attractive about electronic gadgets dangling from every o*****e, appearing to talk to oneself as one screams into a cell phone, and the lip-syncing and insipid head bobbling to whatever tunes one has plugged into one's ears.

  19. Prettier for whom? It doesn't turn me on. You try putting on dresses, slips, nylon, and heels for a day and see how comfortable it is for you. Sorry guy, I'm a jeans and t-shirt kind of gal.

  20. I'm sure it would. The world would also be a lot prettier if men acted more like gentlemen and ladies acted more like ladies. I think that would make an even greater difference. Not everyone can afford classy clothes, but it doesn't cost a dime to have class.

  21. I love femininity. One time several years ago, I was out with my husband for the day doing some Christmas shopping. At that time, jumper dresses were in style. I didn't usually wear many dresses unless for special occasions, but this day I did. It was red and green plaid. This elderly gentlemen was sitting with his wife at the restaurant table next to us. He said to me how refreshing it was to see a young lady wearing a dress, and how you don't see that often anymore. I thanked him, and thought about that from time to time. I love dresses, I just don't go out much to wear one. The 40s and 50s styles for women, I am quite partial to. I loved the elegance of Hollywood attire back then. I refer to them as the 'glamor' years. I remember my mom talking about silk stockings with seams, and getting all 'gussied' up just to go shopping, wearing heels as well! That was in the 1940s and 50s :)

  22. In other words, you want women to work even harder to look nice than they already do.  When you have to shave your legs and armpits all the time, then you'll be in a better position to suggest that women make changes.

  23. It all depends on who is wearing them. Obviously you like your women to look feminine but some prefer the comfort of slacks. I personally think that my husband looks really hot in his kilt but he only wears it on special occasions.

  24. If you feel this way, the be my guest and wear dresses, slips, nylons, and heels whenever you want.

  25. I don't have the legs for a dress, and my feet are f-ed up from wearing heels, so you can take that idea and you know what to do with it.

  26. In the movies maybe.

Not otherwise. Who wants to be with someone that absorbed in pain and discomfort for the sake of another ?

  27. Sure it would.  And it would be much more handsome world if guys wore suits and ties and shaved every day.

It's a good thing prettiness and handsomeness aren't paramount priorities for most of us, and we get to dress, instead, for functionality.

  28. Yes, when I worked I wore skirts with splits up the side or back with hose that had seams up the back.  I wore high heels and classy clothes....the men loved it!!!  A person has more pride in themselves when their dressed up!  Then I'd go home and change my clothes into boots and Levis and help my man feed cattle!!!

  29. Yes, but please add shirts and ties for men.  When we dress "prettier" we feel and act prettier.  That makes the world a nicer place.

  30. Yes it would be. Why don't you buy yourself all those things and wear them and see how comfortable they are. It would sure be nice if all men still wore suits, crisp white starched shirts, ties and hats. What happened to that?

  31.      I have to agree. My wife, when she worked in a certain industry, dressed up very pretty, not to say she isn't now. But she dressed quite different and I saw the others did the same.

Now, in conjunction as to where we live now, more a country setting, the dress more out-doorsy, they're just as pretty buy in an out doors setting instead of a city setting. Dresses and stuff.
