Just wondering...wouldn't having two majors instead of one hurt your grades? You'd be trying to remember all of this different stuff....even if you took notes and listened well, wouldn't it be impossible to remember everything for both majors?

  1. In the UK, we don't have 'majors' and 'minors', but it's very common for people do to a joint honours course which I suppose is essentially the same (eg. English Literature and Creative Writing, History and Politics, Economics with French). You can do almost any combination.

However, in the UK, there's no requirements for any sort of 'core curriculum' or other classes you have to take to have the required credits where you end up studying something that has nothing to do with what you want to do. You study the modules required for your course, some of which everyone on the course does, some of which you can choose, and that's it.

Although my parents inform me that when they were at uni, they had to take three other classes-however, these were all to do with their degrees. For example, my dad did agriculture so did another class about economics in agriculture (or something like that).

  2. majors in the military are not allowed to hurt civilians... so you got nothing to worry about... only if congress declared us underwar against ourselves the majors could beat you, or if you happen to be talking about majors fromanother country in war with us... i would say hire a few guards if you're really worried

  3. I don't think so. It really depends on the person who's taking the majors. I graduated with double majors. Though its really hard to concentrate on both courses but I managed it.

  4. As the other person said, it depends on the person.  I'm sure some people can't do it, but others (like myself) have no problem memorizing lots of information at once.

  5. Depends on you. Some people can do it.

    Most people, however, can't.
