  1. not if poor judgement goes along with that experience.  and also...if he were younger, then there would not be as large a risk of the presidency being turned over to the VP.

  2. No. I'd rather have someone as president who has demonstrated excellent judgment and has an even temperament.

  3. Not really.  I think the most import qualities of a leader are charisma and vision, and Barack Obama has that in spades.  Experience is a desired quality of advisors, which is what Joe Biden will be.

  4. Sure.

    McCain/Palin '08

  5. Yes !! ... It does seem rather bass ackwards to have a Presidential Nominee with the LEAST amount of experience !!!

Obama wants to give our sovereignty away to the United Nations through his Global Poverty Act (S.2433).

Alaska Govermor Sarah Palin has MORE TOTAL political experience than Obama!!

    KS1982

  6. Not if it leaves this country in the hands of someone who doesn't know how much a real-time threat Al-Qaeda is.

I can see McCain kicking the bucket prematurely and Palin taking over in 2010.

Then until 2012...? Osama bin Laden's going to be hammering us with terrorist attacks left and right.

Because Palin lacked the foreign policy knowledge *needed* to deal with threats on a global scale.

But that's okay, right? We got the world to hate and despise us for 8 years thanks to George Bush's failed foreign policy decisions.

Do we really need experience at the helm--to prove to the world just how much of a bunch of idiots we are to keep electing the wrong people to the most powerful post in the United States?

  7. Well does that matter if McCain dies, he is 72 and battled cancer...he could die! So really we are dealing with a front end unexperienced person on that side as well

  8. Yes,  Sarah Palin is not ready to lead. On the other hand, Joe Biden is ready to lead but Obama is not

  9. I want the kind of president that will surround himself with experienced, qualified people, regardless of how experienced he himself happens to be. There have been plenty of good presidents who were low on experience, but they always hired qualified intelligent people. The administrations that didn't always flounders.

So if Palin and Biden is an example of type of people McCain and Obama will hire in the executive branch, then I will go with Obama, thank you very much. I don't need someone with an ego trip who is too afraid to bring in the most qualified people. I've had enough of that with Bush and his political appointments.

  10. YES!!

  11. HUH

  12. not when the front of the ticket might die and the in-experienced,creationist,anti-abortion and anti g*y back of the ticket will be in charge.

  13. Not when one of the ones in front is 72 years old and has had cancer numerous times.

  14. Yes, but when you have a 72 year old man who could pass at any point in his term as president, then I would expect a VP who is ready to lead.  Clearly, Sarah Palin is not ready to lead.  On the other hand, Joe Biden is ready to lead.

  15. not if the exp led to agreeing with bush constantly that kind of exp can go in the back of a closet somewhere with the rest of the junk

  16. yes please. I think our country would have a huge bulls eye if nobama were elected.

  17. Front and center, man, front and center!!!

  18. I think the question goes deeper than that.

Would I rather have a man who supports everything our current joke-of-a-president believes in or someone against it? I'll take the latter.

  19. Hm...what's better?  Leader with a useless follower tagging along or a puppet with someone's hand up its butt?  I don't really know...
