A tsunami, nuclear war etc didn`t happen tonight?

We currently have a monsoon here in Hampshire.

But what is currently taking your mind off the news.

things are getting bad,  i am paying attention to the world because it is affecting my life, turning a blind eye will not help you

I don't worry about anything that's out of my hands unless it's affecting myself. I can't do anything about gas prices. I can't help with ancient rivalries that still cause deaths today. I can't fix the ozone. I can't do much of anything, so I just take advantage of being an American and live my life as best I can.

The news is bad it sucks you in.

I watched the news today (BBC) some freak in germany using google maps is the theory going around opening rabbit hutches chopping the heads off and keeping them for trophies. Still at large they're worried he may start to kill people.

If that wasn't odd enough the newswoman (louise wotsitname) just muttered "what an extraordinary story" with a smile and cut to the weather.

The distance of feeling she portrayed from the story was bizarre almost unhuman, no tsunami sure but from now on i'm going to try and avoid 24 hour news it's not healthy.
