Woulds you be as interested in golf if tiger woods didnt exist?

because i wouldnt. i honestly know nothing about golf seriously i have played about twice in my life. i know some players but no clue about types of clubs, difference between 3,4,5,6 and whatever else irons there are lol so like i said nothing. but i watch because of tiger who always seems to impress me every week. its like are you ever going to lose or have a really down year. same with tennis and federer who has struggles a bit but still wins every tournament he pratically enters. golf without tiger is like snap crackle without the pop. ratings would suck. tiger literally owns the world

I love to play golf long time ago... since tiger woods not become celebrity yet.  So, I love play golf and it nothing to do with Tiger Woods.

I enjoy play the game.... I dont like see people play golf, nor tiger woods.   If he play on our home course, I am not sure if I will come to see he play.

Absolutely. There's lots of great players out there, especially the International ones and younger ones coming through. None however have Tiger's consistency.

No. I love watching him whip the field. He will have the most wins and Majors when it's all done. He will never be touched. I don't think anybody will ever be as good as Tiger Woods.

h**l yes, I've been playing golf since I was ten, grew up in a family of golfers. I admit that sometimes Tiger makes thing interesting, but not when he's got more than 5shot lead. Without Tiger in the mix, thing would be more unpredictable as to who could win a certain tournament. Sadly with Tiger as he is right now, he draws all the attention, and T.V rating. To me it's getting to the point of watching to see if he's going to lose.

I started playing a long time ago(age 4), but got away from it turning to other sports.  I have to admit that when Tiger came onto the scene, that got me re-interested in golf.  I thought about taking a golf class in college, but opted for bowling instead.  My dad played when he was younger and was a caddy also.  I actually got him re-interested in golf also.  We play as often as possible.

If Tiger wasn't around I wouldn't have all these good golf games I like to play!  

I think it is because most of the other players are average that makes him so good.  If Jack Nicklaus, Bobby Jones or Arnold Palmer were around now, with the golf equipment that Tiger uses, he would have much better competition.

No I wouldn't.  Especially this year it is almost 'must see tv' when Tiger is playing...just look at the finish of today's tournament.

Well, that question could go both ways...  I would still be interested in golf without Tiger, but golf definitely wouldn't be as interesting without him.  Tiger is one of those rare elements of the game that only come along once in most people's lifetimes.  Tiger does for golf what Hank Aaron did for baseball, or the Fearsome Foursome did for football, or Dr. J did for basketball.  Never again will anyone be able to be a true fan of the game without knowing the name Tiger Woods.

i watch the events that he is in i really think this season he is having may effect base ball, .the fans started to return when sosa mcquire were having thier slugfest , with another major scandle occuring . tiger has just cost baseball many fans . i still would like to know what the speed would translate into a bsaseball pitch , from the hat spike . any person over 25 dont try it that would hurt . of course pro shops will have increse in cap purchases . incrediable

I'd be more interested because we wouldn't know who was going to win week to week.  Now if he is playing everyone else is pretty much fighting for second place.

yes I still would be interested, Ive been playing since I was 14.. I love golf...my oldest son plays alot, and my younger sons have played since they were 9....its great family time...my husband is not such a fan, too slow for him....
