I can not believe of such a moronic idea to leave Bob Howry in there against Carlos Lee in which Howry has been giving up the long ball. I hate this POS with a passion. My 3 year old son take him out before Howry gave up that homerun. What a moron

stats won't say everything. baseball isn't always predictable. lou is a respected manager, and he was just going with his gut feeling. don't get too mad, because games like these will happen. no, i don't think a three year old can even through 10 mph!

well i didn't say to take him out. the first thing i said was walk him (since hes the only guy in the lineup at that time that could beat them) and low and behold he hits a home run. howry is just flat out struggling right now, theres nothing else to it.

I can't believe Uncle Lou hasn't sent Howry down to AAA yet. His steady diet of feeding batters 92 MPH fastballs isn't very hard to figure out.

I agree, Howry has been in a major slump lately.  The funny thing is right before he hit it Len and Bob were talking about intentionally walking Lee.  Why wouldn't you do that?  He's like the only home run threat in that lineup and he's a known Cub killer.
