Wow, how come the left is soooo angry over Palin's daughter refusal to have an abortion?

I knew they go with infantacide every chance they get, but isn't this over the top?

  1. 'Pro-Choice' = Pro-the choice to have an abortion

    Yet, they have a fit when you say 'Pro-Abortion'

  4. It's not even about Palin's daughter.  They recognize the threat that Palin poses to Obama's campaign for the presidency.  Seeing as how they can't focus on the issues, because it would only make Palin look better, they resort to attacking her any other way they can.

Nobody cares that she is pregnant or that she is going to have her baby but some people just won't let it drop, I feel her mother is using her daughter's pregnancy to make a point and that's wrong.. I believe in life and improving the quality of life for every child born in this world. i am pro-choice and the word is choice, with so many couples wanting to adopt i feel attempts should be made to encourage births but there are times when abortion is the best choice

  6. This is sad!  I hang with the far left, as a matter of fact if you look up "far left" in the dictionary there will be a picture of me with a Barack Obama 08 t-shirt on!

    Having said that.  No one on the left gives two damns about this girl being pregnant!  McCain knew this before he picked Palin and partially picked her because of it.  She and her daughter will be the poster children for anti-abortion advocates. I wish for all the best for this family. Her mom made the choice to put this in the spot light.  People were vocal about Jamie Lynn Spears (the right and left were) so any chatter (most of which is from the wonderful conservatives) is just that and holds absolutley no weight on the upcoming election!

    That is okay with me and all my "far left" honchos.  

  7. Because they do not realize how many pregnant 17-year-olds there are out there.  They don't think she has the brains to make this decision on her own.  They don't think there's a chance in h**l that this young couple might actually be in love and welcoming a baby.

  9. Im sorry but I have not seen one instance of any Democrat being "soooo angry".  Can you show such an instance?  

    I do think it is rather hypocritical that a Conservative Republican who is supposed to be so concerned with "family values" has a child that is pregnant and unmarried.  Nevermind keeping the baby--that is her choice--which is what PRO choice is about--not just having abortions willy nilly.  

    How the heck can this woman be VP when she cant even control or guide her 17 year old daughter?

  13. As a "leftie"  I can assure you pro choice people do not force women to have abortions. Unlike anti choice people who want to classify birth control as abortion.  Bristol is a young woman facing the most frightening experience in her lifetime.  She is fortunate in having a solid, financially comfortable family and a strong support system.  She will be Ok unlike the victims of rape and incest who would be denied a choice by her mother.

  14. They don't know what family is about. That is why their kids run wild, and have an easy out. Surely they found a way to "Cure" that little pregnacy problem in the family.Just support a bill to kill off the inconvenience, and you don't have to bother mom and dad with the details.

  18. Why can't people get the point, If you make a mistake you have to live up to it. Having s*x means possible of becoming pregnant. You get pregnant you have a child. Why is it sooooo hard for people to understand this concept. Wait to have s*x until you are ready to have a child. Or deal with the fact you now have a child.

    Have we become such a throw a way society that we will just abort fetuses just because having a child is a little inconvenient.

    I have 2 kids that I can barely afford. But we took the responsible way out and we are raising them the best way that we can. And we are not on Welfare. We can't by nice things like plasma TV's or go out and eat dinner when we want to, but we are taking responsibility for our actions.

  19. Only the right keeps bringing up the abortion issue.  The focus is on Palin's stance about abstinence.  The irony is that her own daughter did not benefit from the GOP supported abstinence programs.

  23. We aren't mad that she is keeping the baby. It's the hypocrisy behind it all.

    I don't give a d**n if she has the baby or not. She could do whatever. It's her CHOICE. It should be all about choice. As I said the hypocrisy is what kills me. Obv. not teaching s*x ed didn't work. You all made fun of Hilary with Bill. If she couldn't keep track of her  hubby, what would make her a good leader? Yet she couldn't keep tabs on her CHILD, who is a minor BTW. Which is worse?

    I understand accidents occur. However, GOP family values can't just brush  this aside as her "just being a teenager."

    That doesn't hold for me. No matter how much you all try to pawn it off as liberals wanting her to abort.It all comes down to how the GOP is treating it as no big deal.  Next time,try keeping this in context before running your mouth.

  24. "The left" is not angry at all over the fact that Palin's daughter got pregnant and has decided to bear the child. We who consider ourselves progressives find it amusing that this situation proves in an especially personal way that abstinence only before marriage education does not not work. They are hypocrites for pretending it does. Abstinence-only education is guaranteed to produce more premarital s*x, more pregnancy, and more std's in our kids.  

    But if you believe that "the left" (whoever that is) "goes with" infanticide, you'll believe absolutely anything.
