Brodeur collected 113 points and was named on 29 of 30 ballots, including 15 first-place selections. Nabokov was second with 106 points and 13 first-place votes. The New York Rangers' Henrik Lundqvist finished a distant third with 13 points.

Would there have been a tie if Brodeur and Nabokov both had 14 total votes?

  1. I bet there would have. But we all know Nabby deserved it. The only reason why Marty won it was because no other canadian got a major award. (NO OFFENSE IF MADE) Or, it was just a bad call by the GMs. Nabby was snubbed, no two ways about it. If anyone doesn't believe me, look at the stats and get a life!

  2. IDK

2 yrs's ago foir the Jack Adams Lindy Ruff beat Peter Laviolette by 1 vote

    Lindy        148

    Laviolette 147

  3. ya i think it would have been a tie. i really wish nabby was the one that got 15 first place votes but what can we do about that. maybe next year. =)

  4. If everybody promises to stop crying about Nabby getting robbed (He didn't)

i promise i will never cry that Renberg did not get the Calder trophy

  5. Broduer is a great goalie who made his team good.

Nabby is a great goalie on a good team.

The right man won the trophy.

    Brodeur better GAA .921-Nabby .910

Brodeur faced more shots 2089-Nabby 1802

SJ scored more goals 216 NJ-198

SJ had more shots on goal 2428 NJ- 2362

If there "WAS" a tie that would break it.

Nabby is a solid goalie who should be glad to be the runner up to the BEST goalie in the league, Maybe best of the decade.
