Wow, who would've thought that China's baseball team would be so classless?

Hitting 6 batters, that's right, 6, a couple of them in the head, and showing off after hitting a homerun that didn't even make the game close. I don't care if our player ran over their catcher, that's a legal part of the game, and they deserved it.

Several things should have occurred in this game that didn't. For starters, the umpires let this game get out of hand by not issuing warnings to the Chinese pitcher and coach if they thought the beanings were intentional. Number two, if the U.S even surmised that they were on purpose, they should have retaliated in kind. As far as the home run theatrics, as soon as the umpire witnessed it, he should have issued an immediate warning for unsportsmanlike conduct to the Chinese player and coach. These actions have no place in Olympic sports and China should be rebuked....I think things were overlooked simply because China is the host nation of the Olympics.

Both teams are wrong but more the Chinese for hitting 6 batters. They both seem to have forgotten that they are in an event that is supposed to promote good sportsmanship peace & friendship & obviously both teams seem to have forgotten that.  this may sound corny to some people but no one deserves to get hurt.

Yeah there being pretty dumb. Let it be and if you hit a homer when you losing by 9 then just run around the bases. Your never gonna make it if you have an attitude and the Chinese showed some real attitude. Thats why there never gonna win and thats why there making China look even worse.

I know.  I was shocked, really I was.

It was absolutely unacceptable on both sides, but China was more in the wrong.

And if you're going to intentionally hit people, not that you should, you aim for the ribs down.  Throwing at someone's head could kill or seriously injure them.

I don't know that ALL six of them were intentional, but definitely the majority was intentional.

And the home run in the top of the 9th, and the guy is running around the bases like he won the freakin world series...

What was the final score again?  Oh, yeah.  9-1!!!

The whole game was ridiculous and an embarrasment to the sport of baseball.

showing off homeruns? ok so i guess its ok for mlb players to do it but not other players around the world/

China took it offensive when they ran over their star catcher that had to leave the game. Then, a similar incident happened with their backup catcher and China retaliates with purpose.
