  1. Back in the '60's you could get it for 30 cents a gallon.

You also didn't have to take out a loan to go to the theater and catch a movie.

  2. It was closer to $1.40 and is now $3.75. A 270% increase in 7 years.

Economy is actually stronger now than in 2001 but is down from our peak in 2006.

  3. January 2001 was about the same time that Bush proposed drilling in ANWR.  If the environmentalists had not blocked this proposal then we would be enjoying low gas prices today.

    Drill here Drill now.

  4. $10.13 per gallon - that will be the price of gas at the end of McCain's term if he's elected and if his administration continues to allow the same increases that the Bush administration has allowed (assuming McCain lives through his term of course)

  5. Sounds like you just woke up - yes the country is truly going to h**l thanks to the policies of d**k & W - also think W will have to find him self another wife when he leaves office - every one knows what happened to Edwards.

  6. it's more than doubled since November of 2006.

    any questions?

  7. No, that's not true.

  8. Yep--that Bush did such a great job with the economy, didn't he?  Wouldn't we all be thrilled to have $1.30/gallon gas now?

  9. Want a real shocker? It was .90/gal in 1990
