Wow-- McCain camp angry about Palin background inquiries?

The McCain campaign truly expects that the American public would elect a ticket without asking questions about the VP's background?

If they wanted someone who would have sparked less questioning, they shouldn't have picked Sarah Palin. Didn't they realize that when they vetted her so thoroughly?

  1. Of course they are they are screwed and they can't get out of this mess

  2. Typical of the Democrat party... Bill told everyone to leave Chelsea alone... Obama told everyone to leave his daughters alone...

So why isn't everyone leaving Palin's children alone?

  3. "Long and thorough process"?  Another aide stated it took two days.

  4. If Palin didn't want national attention drawn to her 17 year old daughter's pregnancy she shouldn't have thrust herself and her rightous ways into the NATIONAL SPOTLIGHT.

McCain warned that she would be intensely scrutinized.

Palin is not surprised that the media is talking about the pregnancy.

She sold her daughter's privacy down the river.

  5. Typical of the Republican Party's tactics..."do as we say and don't question it, otherwise, you're against us"!  I'm very happy that this tactic is finally backfiring!

  6. This is probably the most terrifying statement I have seen coming out of the political arena in almost 60 yrs that I have been around.

THE ENTIRE AMERICAN ELECTION PROCESS IS DEPENDENT ON EDUCATED VOTERS.  We SHOULD be asking questions about Palin. We should be asking questions about Biden. The fact that questions are being asked, is the best thing in the world. If we don't ask questions.. and EXPECT answers, we are in bigger trouble than anyone has begun to imagine.

Apparently, the Republicans (or at least McCain) thought that they could nominate a person for the 2nd most critical office in this country.. and people would simply accept the idea that she is "exciting, tough and qualified", without the opportunity to evaluate this for themselves.  I have no idea what their definition of those terms mean. Unfortunately, the private matters should have stayed private..instead they are being USED as a shield, to prevent any questions at all.

If the demands to avoid questions is real.. all the more reason (to me) that we should be concerned, and continue demanding some real answers. No politician at this level is exempt from being completely investigated...  NOT by their "vetting" but by the persons who are out there, ready to vote.

  7. LMAO! McCain must be ready to kick  that rube to the curb to state that they can't be accountable for their stupidity.

  8. Typical tactics of McCain's friend Bush.   Let's inquire and scrutinize Barack, but we are off limits.

  9. They are simply pandering to the Hillary Democrats, but the intelligent ones will not be easily duped.

The good news for the GOP is that all of Palin's issues/problems/investigations are adding a little excitement to an otherwise extremely dull campaign, and distracting from the fact that the old man just doesn't have much to boast about.

  10. Im only upset that people take left wing blogs for absolute fact, and that people are using identity theft to try and dig up dirt on her. Everyone keeps saying she was picked out of desperation but I really believe all the smearing and illegal tactics are being done out of desperation.
