  1. People it's called a joke for a reason, i found it funny, but if you don't, you could have stopped reading right????

It's funny told to the right people, but you get all kinds in here, so i would say it's not appropriate here.

    GL

  2. Poor taste to make fun of someone's religion. Also, crucifixion is a horrible death.  But if you find humor in that sort of thing, check out Vlad the Impaler.

  3. absolutely histerical, i love it when you p**s off christians.

  4. mean isn't the word, just kind of wrong. its a little funny, but definitely a little too crude haha.

  5. Funny depending on how religeous you are.

  6. Funny and mean. What is even better are these dry as toast christians getting all offended by a joke. Also, lmao @ only takes one nail.

  7. hilarious. absolutely funny. i just love that joke so much!

  8. Unquestionably blasphemous

  9. Mean     But also funny.....but mean.

It's right up there with why he couldn't eat M&M's.

Cause they fall through the holes in his hands!!!

  10. Its funny, people take things too serious.

  11. that is so incredibly disrespectful! Mean!

you know, Jesus wasn't the only one who died from crucifixion...a lot of other people died on a cross and even if you aren't Christian that is still horribly disrespectful...people will probably laugh at me for saying this but if we want to have less problems in the world it doesn't help by making jokes that will hurt and insult other people.

  12. well, it's both. you have to admit that it does have humor. however, it's very similar to jokes (or "harmless" imitations ... amongst friends) about retards, or people who stutter, etc.

    in that ...

it's funny, until you're a person who is close to that situation. (i.e. have a relative who is retarded, or is autistic, or whatever.) especially if you're a caretaker, because the sacrifices that you make are very real. and the joke - teller usually has little to no experience in the REALITY of life in dealing w/ these people.

i know it's not a direct correlation to Jesus. but to some people, he is a very important part of their life (whether you hold their beliefs or not.) so to tell a joke like that around those people is seriously demeaning to them.

that being said, most people are hopefully honorable enough to not PURPOSELY tell a joke like that if they know that one of the hearers is sensitive and it will hurt them.

the trouble is, you can't always ask beforehand.

so bottom line ... it's a very risky joke, and CAN VERY WELL INDEED be offensive, regardless of intentions.

  13. I've always loved that joke... not my favorite jesus joke nor my favorite hockey joke, but it's a good one.

i know it could be offensive but come on... it's a joke.  there are plenty of offensive jokes that you all would probably laugh at, because they don't directly affect you.  It's a joke, let it go, enjoy life and don't waste time being offended.

  14. It is funny but it's also mean and offensive. I would never ever say something like that because it is a joke that will offend a lot of people.

  15. its pretty offensive. not exactly funny. stupid would be the right word.

    haha lol @ golfa

Drunk in PA- i love that one!

  16. I would say it is equal...well no more mean....

  17. whether its mean or not, i dont even think its funny alone. just dont repeat it, some people might take it really offensive because of their beliefs in jesus.

  18. HAHAHAA.

    Hilarious. yet mean. But hilarious.

Somebody said the Jesus saves. Gretzky picks up the rebound and scores. I always said Satan picks up the rebound and scores..like the NHLer and..the devil ;]

  19. That is slightly humorous

  20. well its mean but its somewhat funny i dont know for the most part its mean

  21. Its funny. Kinda wrong, but funny.

  22. It is funny though.

  23. Well, personally, any time someone tells jokes about the Lord, when it's in reference to dying on the cross for all of us, I find it in poor taste.

  24. It's pretty mean, and extremely offensive.  That's not really a good kind of humor.

It's rudely making fun of someone's religious icon being killed.  That's seriously poor taste.

  25. Neither. As a lot of people have already said, it's an old joke. I heard it when I was in a catholic school....back when people weren't so uptight about the dumbest things.

  26. Neither.

BTW what do they teach you in skool? Apparently not spelling and grammar.

  27. LOL@ all the holier than thou Christians getting pi$sed off about a JOKE. That is an oldie but a goody.  Since everyone is up in arms already (no pun intended)..

Q: What's the difference between Jesus and a picture of Jesus?

A: You only need one nail to hang up a picture of Jesus.

  28. absolutely HILARIOUS! that is funny. bad, but funny.

  29. neither

but judging by your grammar your first job application should be hilarious

  30. I heard that joke as a kid in the 1940s.................so while it may not be either mean or funny...........it's a lot older than you are!

  31. Not funny and not mean.Thats why there called JOKES people. This country has a real problem when it comes to humor it is now being run by politically correct aholes.
