  1. First, definitely look up the definitions and learn what each means, but I'll help you out with these:

    1) real, rational, integer, whole, natural - all

    2) real, irrational

    3) pi = real, irrational

    4) integer, whole, natural, real, rational

    5) real, rational

    6) real, rational, integer

    7) real, rational

    8) real, rational

  2. 1.) 6425 integer, natural

    2.) √7 irrational

    3.) pi irrational

    4.) 0 integer

    5.) √25/36 = 5/6 rational, real

    6.) - √16 = -4 negative integer

    7.) -35 negative integer

    8.) -31.8I negative, rational, real

  3. You should have a definition of each in your book (or just google them) and see which fits into which category.  For instance, whole numbers can not be fractions, so any of the ones listed with fractions or decimals are not whole numbers.

Real numbers include both rational numbers, such as 42 and −23/129, and irrational numbers, such as pi and the square root of two.

A natural number (also called counting number) can mean either an element of the set {1, 2, 3, ...} (the positive integers) or an element of the set {0, 1, 2, 3, ...} (the non-negative integers)

The whole numbers are the counting numbers and 0. The whole numbers are 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ...

So, as you can see, some of the numbers in question will fall into more than one category.  For instance 3.  Pi is an irrational number, but by definition, is also a real number since real numbers consist of rational and irrational numbers.
