Wow much should i eat a day?

I am in 7th grade and i practice gymnastics about 12 hours a week and i am going to start working out 30 minutes in the morning. I am also a vegetarian. How many calories should eat a day? What should i eat? thanks for the help!

  1. you should eat about 300-600 claories or u will gain weight never eat above 800 claores you will be obese and will have health problems

    Consuming less than 1200 calories for an adult is considered risky and should only be done with a doctor's supervision. Below 1000 and your body can go into starvation mode, which can begin shutting down various systems in your body to conserve energy for more necessary ones. This can also s***w up your metabolism. Of course this is for an adult, so the figure might be a little different at your age. Since you are still growing you may need more.

    Being a vegetarian, youll need some sort of protein replacement or supplement to help rebuild muscle tissue. If your not opposed to eggs, they can be a great source of protein, just watch your yolk consumption. Soy is a common one, but its health risks are often downplayed. Id suggest not utilizing soy as your primary protein. Whey protein and casein protein have less health concerns.
