When the people no longer believe that they have any representation, they get angry. when they get angry they get irrational (ie. going to war in Iraq).

While I fully supprt the peaceful protestor, I am disgusted by the anarchists who just show up to raise h**l, remember anarchists believe in no govenrment, as do conservatives.

Another thing that bothers me is how demonized peaceful protestors are by the right, another sign of their fascist totalitarian leanings.

back in the 70's when you protested it actually made a  party look good today when you protest it make your party look like its just filled with retarded sheep so protesting for either party is a bad thing

My thoughts? Thank god for riot police. These are mainly anarchist nut jobs. They are all middle to upper class white college kids who's parents pay for their college.

Well, I've seen it go both ways.

In 2004, I went to a John Kerry speech in Kansas City, Missouri, and some Bush supporters came and tore the place up.

I dont like it. I dont like it when it gets done to me, so I wouldn't want it to be done the other way. It is pretty classless.

Yeah that was pretty sad to see that the protest had to be was dispersed like that.  People have rights to protest but when it gets ugly with police, it's not cool.  Protests shouldn't overshadow the convention.
