Wrestler who dropped medal?

Ok, I'm confused, in the re ruling for this, did he end up with the gold? or did the guy he wrestled get the gold? It is described in this article but the wording is funny, maybe you can understand it:

No he didn't end up with the gold. He was stripped of the bronze and got nothing.

Abrahamian was cheated as the world is finally coming to realize. So in truth the bronze is not his medal anyway. I take issue with the media, including yahoo who simply posted immediate articles about a wrestler throwing down his medal. Pure hype that apparently people are still believing. THINK PEOPLE. RESEARCH, PULL YOUR HEAD OUT.   When the story first came out did you Notice how most of the stories were saying that he "throws down his medal"  Again, this paints a different picture then the actual truth, which is,  he layed down the medal, waved and walked off.  But again that is the stupid, friggin, hype driven media that apparently gets most people to react without using critical thinking skills.  Now the media is toning it down and saying "the athlete who dropped his medal" but based on other responses YOU WOULD RATHER NOT USE YOUR BRAIN AND QUESTION. MOST  JUST BELIEVED THE HYPE.  This was journalism at it's worst as the vast majority of the articles did nothing to research why this athlete was so upset.   And even worst was the idiots who posted that he was being a cry baby.  And throwing a tantrum....WELL NEXT TIME YOU GET ROBBED OR CHEATED be sure to keep your mouth shut and take it in the a s s.  Oh and just be grateful...  SUCH BULLSHIT!  And IF YOU ACTUALLY WATCH THE MEDAL CEREMONY I THINK HIS PROTEST IS CLASSY AND NECESSARY...  

There is already enough p us ssies in the world who are afraid to speak up for themselves.  Thank God this athlete has courage to bring this travesty to the world's attention.  Too bad most people are like blind sheep who would rather just believe a over hyped headline instead of get to the heart of truth and justice and what really happened. . This event  shows you how easily people are influenced by media headlines without using their brain to question what exactly happened and demand to see the footage of why this athlete layed down his medal.

I wish Bob Costas would have asked the olympic committee's president what is going to happen in this case.  That would have been great to put him on the spot and also expose that the referee who made the Fu#Ked up call is is the cousin of the olympic committee president. DID YOU PEOPLE KNOW THAT THE SWISS OLYMPIC COMMITTEE PRESIDENT AND THE REFEREE WHO MADE THE SUSPCIOUS CALL ARE COUSINS? AND NOTE:  The olympic committee president is from switzerland.  Well after abrahamian was robbed, the italian went on to face the wrestler from switzerland.   This wrestler from switzerland is the same guy that Abrahamian had faced and demolished before.   So switzerland didn't want to face Abrahamian and go figure, a very bad call and switzerland now gets to face italy and not Abrahamian.  HMMMMM? .....   WELL fu** that!   Roll the mats back out boys and Abrahamian faces the swiss wrestler for the GOLD.  And the italian has to wrestle for the bronze.   THIS WOULD BE FAIR.

AND FU*K THE OLYMPIC COMMITTEE, it is all politics and bias. Watch the interview of Bob Costas and the olympic committee president who says that his favorite part of the olympic was watching Roger Federer ( his fellow swiss countryman) getting the gold and having tears in his eyes.  OF COURSE THERE IS COUNTRY BIAS by this olympic president but there should also be unemployment for his sorry a s s !!!

He also says there is no money in winning a gold.   Don't believe that hype either.  Many countries offer their athletes money if they win a medal... Also, there is big money for endorsements, even if you are from the most obscure country... corporations still want to associate with medal winners.  I encourage all to investigate and question before just believing the hype.  Other than that,  I continue to lose faith in humanity one person at a time.    ALL ATHLETES AND OLYMPIC FANS SHOULD NOT SETTLE UNTIL ABRAHAMIAN GETS HIS FAIR SHOT FOR THE GOLD AND THE ITALIAN TURNS HIS GOLD BACK IN AND RIGHTLY WRESTLES FOR THE BRONZE.   PROTEST INJUSTICE EVERY CHANCE YOU GET.   And reasearch bigger issues effecting the world.  9-11 controlled demolitions,  illegal israeli land grabs and genocide against palestinians and talmud teaching,  project for a new american century,  religion:  god has favorites?

Also, people keep inquiring about if they willl give him his medal back..   What?   Bronze was never his medal !!!  Without the bad call, he moves on to the gold medal match, so GOLD OR SILVER is rightlfully his.  ANd judging how he dominated the swiss wrestler before, then he would have taken the gold.    THINK THESE THINGS THROUGH PEOPLE  AND FIGHT FOR JUSTICE ON ALL LEVELS.

He got the bronze.  He dropped the bronze.  He was then stripped of the bronze.  His medal dropping protest made the olympic judges realize that they themselves were not following the rules.  He didn't get the bronze back but He was correct to get angry.  Funny isn't it.  now the judges will hear protests for future matches.

I think im an expert on this topic now. The man who dropped the medal got bronze, he dropped his medal because he DESERVED gold. The official judge made a comment that ruined his fight. The comment was not seen by any of the experts in the audience. The only reason the official made that comment was because he wanted the Italian wrestler to win. The Italian wrestler won gold just because the official (who is italian) made that comment.

He ended up with bronze, but in the semis he'd lost to the eventual winner because of some c**p judging, and he dropped his bronze medal in disgust.

It was Ara Abrahamian (an Armenian-born Swede) who dropped his bronze medal, because he was very angry over losing in the semi-finals against Andrea Minguzzi, because of the judges. Andrea Minguzzi went on to the gold medal match and won the gold medal. He believed that he was robbed from going to the gold match against Zoltan Fodor.

The article clearly states he was stripped of the medal. (Bronze, not gold).

It then says that he wanted the medal back and the judges to be "tossed out".

In the end he only wants the appeals process to be fixed, and isn't concerned about getting the medal back.

He was never going to be awarded the gold.
