Wrestling: Triple Threat Match Chavo Guerrero vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. MVP
Emotions are running high as the professional wrestling world prepares itself for the Money in the Bank Ladder match, taking place in 4 days. Top wrestlers from around the world will put their bodies on the line to retrieve the briefcase hanging more than 20 feet high above the ring floor.
It was Friday Night Smack Down and it was announced that Dolph Ziggler will compete against Chavo Guerrero and MVP in a triple threat match. In a triple threat match it is every man for himself and the chance to win the match is only 33 %. It was Vickie Guerrero, official consultant to Smack Down General Manager who announced the match.
Wrestling fans know that Dolph Ziggler is the boyfriend, and, Chavo Guerrero is the niece of Vickie Guerrero. Vickie Guerrero wanted Dolph Ziggler to win the match and she knew that the real threat would come from the former United States Champion, MVP.
The match started as Chavo Guerrero, Dolph Ziggler and MVP faced each other in the ring. Everyone thought that each of the wrestlers will try their best to win the match. But the expectations went wrong when the match suddenly turned into a handicap fight against MVP. Both Chavo Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler started kicking the abdomen of MVP.
The crowd was stunned but then everyone realized that Vickie Guerrero had instructed her niece Chavo Guerrero to help Dolph Ziggler in winning the match at all costs. Chavo Guerrero apparently had no concern about winning the match. Both wrestlers used MVP as a punching bag as they punched and kicked every inch of his body.
MVP knew that he was fighting for a chance of a life time. MVP suddenly shifted the momentum of the match as he delivered hardcore punches to the face of Chavo Guerrero. MVP then picked up Dolph Ziggler by applying pressure on his leg and then smashed him on the ring floor. It is difficult for even the best wrestler to fight two wrestlers at the same time. Dolph Ziggler and Chavo Guerrero joined forces again and picked up MVP to smash his back on the ring floor.
MVP tried to seal the deal by smashing the face of Chavo Guerrero on the ring floor. MVP went for the cover as the referee started counting to three. But the controversial Vickie Guerrero intervened in the match and pulled the referee outside the ring before he could complete the three-count. This open violation of the rules of professional wrestling gave enough time to Dolph Ziggler to gather his strength and strike MVP from behind.
Then Dolph Ziggler jumped in the air and trapped the neck of MVP in the dreaded submission lock called the “Sleepers Hold”. During this submission lock, Dolph Ziggler applies pressure to the neck of his opponent and stops the blood flow to the brain. This incapacitates the opponent and makes him unconscious. Dolph Ziggler has effectively applied this submission lock to many opponents including the 7 foot tall giant, The Great Khali.
So Dolph Ziggler applied this submission hold to MVP by grabbing his neck. It was over as MVP fell on the ground and became motionless after a few moments. The referee analyzed the situation and awarded the controversial match to Dolph Ziggler. Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler were both happy as Dolph Ziggler qualified to participate in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
However, it is clear to Dolph Ziggler that he would have to fight alone in the Money in the Bank Ladder match as Vickie Guerrero will not be able to stand at the ring side to help her boyfriend.
