Wrinkles at the age of 21 ???

I have a few 'lines' under my eyes... similar to wrinkles...

Is it natural? It doesn't show really unles u look carefully...

But I was wondering, were they always there?

Or have I done something wrong to my skin?

Well, whenever I want to wash my makeup off, I use soap and wash it, drying it with a towel (i actually rub the towel under my eyes to get rid of the mascara and eyeliner)

Have I ruined my skin?

How can I get it away?

  1. They are not wrinkles but fine lines or laughter lines. You can get rid of them though, don't worry about them, by taking proper care of your skin from now on you can prevent them from appearing. Regularly cleanse, tone and moisturize your skin. It helps to keep away aging lines, skin from looking dull and any type of skin problems. A good product that I would like to recommend is Zenmed's three step skin care system. It will keep your skin clean, well toned, lightly moisturized that will give it a healthy, glowing and a look that you deserve at this age.

For getting rid of those lines, you could try their Renewin Serum, which is a micro peel that works exceptionally well to remove fine lines and wrinkles.

  2. i've seen this alot but they seem to look younger as they get older.(ain't that wierd)

  3. Oh dear ... ha ha ... you are only 21. I am now 30, I wish those were the only lines I noticed.

I don't use any of these products myself, but I am just going on what I have heard and learned through commercials and through here.

I would do some investigating into the different brands to see which one seems better over the other.

Start using some type of cleanser that is good for your face - they even have some for wrinkles, and I believe specified even for those under eye issues (and anti - aging). Look into brands such as Neutrogena (http://www.neutrogena.com/), Oil of Olay (http://www.olay.com/), and the like. I am sure their are many out their.

Also remember that everyone's skin is different. If you chose one and it doesn't seem to work, or you don't like the results - don't give up hope - try another one, but also give it time to work.

  4. you havent ruined your skin by rubbing the towel under your eyes. The number one  thing thatis the cause of wrinkles is sun exposure... secondary to that is lifestyle and genetics

wash your face with a simple cleanser like cetaphil which is recommended  by dermatologists

use a clean washcloth each day and tepid water ....d 2 rinsing...one to get make up off and the other to clean skin again

follow with a treatment product that contains an antioxidant like replenix with polyphenols of green tea or topical vitamin c like skin ceuticals c and e serum, this helps the cell turnover in the skin and all the collagen and elastin fiber which are the support network of the skin

you can try some mild cleanisn grains once a week for a deep pore cleanse

follow your treatment product with a moisturizer sunscreen like dove or eucerin , cetaphil makes one too.

if you want something for the eyes as well, buy aproduct specifically for eyes like  one with green tea or vitamin c as well....

retin a at night  around the eyes can help to eventually erase some fine lines and make them softer but you will peel around that areafor the first several weeks since retin a is rx and more dermal.

  5. you probably wear too much make up

  6. Be gentle with your skin and it will go a long way in keeping it smooth and supple. Gently massage the marks with glycerin-honey mixture. Dip a cotton pad in unbeaten egg white, and smooth it across wrinkles. Leave it on for an hour and remove it with a cotton dipped in ice-cold water. 7. Those are not wrinkles, they are natural "laughter" lines which we all have around our eyes and sometimes our mouth.  They are commonly called laughter lines, because we use more facial muscles when we smile or laugh.  But these lines come from our natural facial expressions and are not wrinkles!

We also get them around the eyes from squinting if we spend a lot of time in the sun and our eyes are not protected by sun glasses - or if you squint to see better, because you need glasses.  But that is not permanent at your young age if you protect your eyes and stop squinting - at your age your skin has a lot of elasticity and is very resilient.

But I will offer a word of advice - the skin around your eyes is very sensitive and you should never rub it with a towel or cloth, but gently pat the skin to remove any makeup.  As I mentioned above, at your age there is enough elasticity in your skin for you not to worry about it.  But it is a good habit to get into and you skin will thank you for it later in life, lol!

  8. wow, you worry too much.  it's not so bad getting older.  just moisturize or something.
