Question:

Write a list of "positive actions" I can take?

My friend made me promise thta for every negative thought I have, I will write 5 actions to take... She says I'm a very negative person and that's why no one wants to be friends with me. What can I write? Giving my mother a hug? washing the dishes? dusting the furniture? Writing a thank you note? inviting a friend over for dinner? buying my mom a flower? handing out resumes?

    Plus anything you love about yourself physically

  3. You need to figure out why you are negative. Is it sarcasm from loved ones? How about constant critism? What trips your trigger?

    As for the list, do you mean it, or are you satisfying your friend?

    Mean what you say and think things out, before you blurt them out. Sometimes ones transmission(the mouth) jumps into gear and while the car(the brain) is in park.

    I too, think I am negative on a lot of things, but the truth is, that if there were no negatives how could you tell there are positives? I have had a LOT negatives happen, even tho I thought it was supposed to be a positive...that is why I am positive about the negatives. No let downs & disappointments that way!

    Listen to the stand up comedians... they finding humor on the negatives of their lives!  I am sure they have LOTS of friends.

    She needs to ease up and be a friend, not a critic on a mission to change your life.

    It will be great to know those things on your list are meaningful to you...are they?
