  1. add the first number plus seven, since tuesdays are every seven days.

    eg. March 1, 8, 15, 22, etc.

Tuesdays occur every seven days, so that means you would add seven to whatever date the first Tuesday is. (in this case 1)

  2. Well, you do need to add the first number plus 7, but that only works if we counted days forever from the beginning of March.  First we need to know how many days are in March, (31) then for each successive month.  After March, the months have the following number of days: 30, 31, 30, 31, 31, 30, (I think...) then you just extend the number sequence process.

Starting with 3, you add seven until you exceed 31 for the first time.  Then, you subtract 31 from this number.  Each time you do this, change the month you correspond to each number, so you'll be in the right month.  Continue adding seven until you exceed 30, and so on for each following month.

You should get:  March 3, March 10, March 17, March 24, March 31, Then, when you should get March 38, subtract 31, and move foreward to the next month.

You just repeat this process as long as you need to.
