Write off a "fix it ticket"? where? california?

Question

i've been pulled over and got a fix it ticket for a loud muffler? where do I go in order to have it checked and written off, I was on my bike and it was stuck in first gear so it was really load at times but the cop wouldn't let it go..

so where do I go to have it checked? any local pd? local sheriff dept.? chp dept.?

Your local police department will do it.  Call first to see if there is any special time someone is available.

Have a mechanic at a licensed shop take a look at it, fix it if necessary, write it off if repaired, & contact the department that issued the ticket for the next step.  Good luck!!

The police department will be your best bet and you dont want to go to the California Highway Patrol for this at all.
