Write your thoughts comparing the plight of the Irish in the 1900’s to current immigrant groups in the US.

It was much worse for the Irish back then cause there wasn't as many rights, for example they had signs on windows of businesses that said "Irish need not apply" (for a job) , but today such blatant discrimination would not be allowed, it would be against human rights and there'd be outcry.
