I was on answers last night, and someone said something about this contest for teens called the Grumpy Dragon. You can send in different things to get different prizes, and if you get a prize, your work will be published. Should I go for it? I want to send in a poem and a short story. Here is the link:

  1. All I can say is, GO FOR IT! :D

  2. Go for it, or forever wish you had!

    You've got nothing to lose!

  3. According to the guidelines you're only allowed  to enter one submission per catagory, but it doesn't say anything about multiple submissions if they're in different catagories.  Your best bey would be to e-mail the EIC (editor-in-chief) Spring Lea Henry at: slh@springlea.com and ask her because she would be the best person to answer your question.  And if you're wondering where I got the e-mail address it's at the bottom of the page on the submission guidelines.  Just draft her a friendly letter and ask her if you can submit to multiple catagories.  The way it's written it sounds like you can, but this way you know for sure before you do it.  Good luck either way.

  4. You know what? I'd say just do it! You ain't got nothin' to lose! Do your very best. ;)
