Writers block for my next sentence for my MARTIN LUTHER essay!

- " Luther’s impact on Church politics began when he saw the Roman Church in all its corrupt glory. Church officials would sell ‘indulgences’ certificates pre-signed by the Pope pardoning a person of their sin. The Church gave its people the false impression that righteousness and forgiveness could be bought. Buying an indulgence was a Christian act to save oneself from damnation. Naturally it was an effective way to rob people of their money and the Pope could spend it on ------"

Dont ask me why i got a mind blank there, but i did.

i have no idea how to finish it.

Spend it on what?

spend it on himself?

the nuns who were forced to bed priests at the time?

The reason you're having trouble finishing your sentence is that you're trying to make up history. You should have a knowledge of facts and stick with reporting those. Your sentences, then, will write themselves.
